The young Design Classic

Rubber Rug // outdoor // Green Product Award winner

Rubber Rug, our "Green Product Winner 2021", is produced from used bicycle inner tubes and PP yarns. It is our first indoor and outdoor rug. We have spent a long time developing its structure to give it that special blend of graphic and organic feel. Our Rubber Rug is a piece of woven architecture. Available in 5 formats. Special formats possible on request.

80% Used bicycle tubes

The work and dexterity that goes into the rubber rug is impressive. It all starts with the used bicycle tubes that are cleaned, cut, fixed and woven. The rubber rug is the architects' favourite.

Respect is in our DNA

"True greatness can come from unexpected sources when given the chance."

This principle is exemplified in the story of the Candy Wrapper Rug, which finds its origin in the picturesque mountains of the Himalayas.

Beginning with a humble candy wrapper, this remarkable product was brought to life through the artful combination of its distinct texture with the highest quality New Zealand wool.

The resulting contrast yields a truly unique and timeless design that is built upon centuries-old craftsmanship and a deep reverence for the materials used.
